Let there be light

Maybe it's the time of year or maybe it's all the snow (likely a combination of both), but the light has been exquisite lately. Here are some of the photos I snapped on Sunday as sunset was approaching. Spring can't be long away.

Snowbirds!

The other day, while it snowed, I was glad to have recently purchased a birdfeeder. As I was working I kept my eye on the birds -- fascinated by the way they behaved at the feeder. The cardinals are especially striking in the snow. But I think they might be bullies! They seemed to scare the other birds.

There is plenty of food for everyone!
